Feeding Hope
"No body is perfect."
Launched in March 2016, Feeding Hope aims to educate Australian adolescents about eating disorders, to help them understand what they truly are. Also, this campaign aims to reduce stigma of eating disorders. Plans to unite with the National Eating Disorders Association, for their annual eating disorders week, have been made.
The slogan, "No body is perfect," has been used to raise awareness on eating disorders and encourage patients to seek help, as they are only harming themselves. The Feeding Hope campaign by ED Education ensures that media attention aids with further knowledge on eating disorders and advocacy of reducing stigma that surrounds these mental illnesses.
Along with an informative website, the Feeding Hope campaign has also used pamphlets to educate Australian adolescents on eating disorders. This audience, in particular, is most affected by eating disorders, which is why raising awareness is essential.
